When Room Fu Decorologist Claire Patrick mentioned recently that she’d seen some great rugs at Tuesday Morning, I have to admit I found it really hard to believe. But I trust Claire’s taste and figured I’d give it a go when I found myself visiting a store in the same shopping center.

Claire was right. They do have awesome rugs at Tuesday Morning! That is, if you’re looking for something small in scale-and we all know now what size rug we’re looking for after yesterday’s Area Rug DOs and DON’Ts, right? Here’s what was at the location at South Lamar and Ben White Blvd. recently:

Modern ikat rug in pink, orange, yellow, purple and green. 5’x8′, $199.99.

Turquoise, yellow gold and green ikat rug, 6′ round, $199.99.

Modern crewel rug in neutrals and gold. 5’x8′, $199.99.

Gray, black and white modern trellis rug. 5’x7′, $149.99.

Certainly not what I would call a huge selection in the store, but worth checking out if you find yourself nearby. Thanks, Claire, for the tip!
