Calling all HGTV junkies, designers, realtors and the like: HGTV is doing another open casting call here in Austin for two shows. According to the email I received from casting agents, here’s what they’re looking for:
“For Brother vs. Brother, we’re looking for: Passionate, charismatic individuals who have major hands-on skills, an eye for renovation and real estate know-how. Carpenters, contractors, interior designers, architects, real estate professionals, artists and those with design expertise.”
“For the New Renovation Competition Series, we’re looking for: Dynamic friends, couples or family members with big dreams and a love for renovation and design. Handy teams of two who think they have a superior eye for design. Although home renovation experience is a plus, it is not required.”
I have half a mind to try out for the second show–there’s a $50,000 minimum cash prize–but I need a partner. Who’s in?!

Hi there,
I have an amazing friend who is an interior designer. She is so talented that it would shock you as well. She refinishes furniture, she installs mouldings and paints them (from her dads shop), she has an eye for design and so much more. If you see some of her work, your jaw would drop.
We are currently getting a website for her but I can always send you pictures.
