I know I started a catalog crawl and didn’t finish it. Bad blogger!! I got a little sidetracked and am anxious to get back to it. While I’m otherwise occupied, here’s another great post from Room Fu’s resident Decorologist, Claire Patrick!
Look out y’all, Austin has a new furniture store. You may have heard about it and written it off due to its hard-to-pronounce name and its fancy-pants location on West 6th next to one of the top antique stores in the biz and a high-end modern retailer. Not so fast. Nadeau isn’t just for the high dollar clientele. You can put your pocketbook (ahem, credit card…do “pocketbooks” even exist anymore?) away. Their mission statement contains the word affordable, and it’s no joke.
At Nadeau, we are dedicated to enhancing our customers’ lives by consistently discovering and offering unique, handcrafted and affordable furniture that brings beauty, warmth, and a bit of authentic, ethnic culture into their homes.
This store, nestled into the urban core of Austin (near our beloved West Elm) is a stop you might want to add to your list of favorites due to their wholesale pricing and super high quality. Think Four Hands, with warehouse sale pricing every day of the week. Real wood at MDF prices. I’m going to stop talking and let the images (and their price tags) do the rest:
