The way One Kings Lane and similar site Rue La La works is that you sign up to be a member or you’re “invited” to become one, and then they bombard you daily with QVC-style email promos. The catch is that quantities are limited and the sales only last about 72 hours. Anyone can join for free, so don’t kid yourself…you’re in steerage, just like everyone else. Every day when I get their emails I think, F*ck. Them again. But I’m basically a sale whore, what can I say? Did you see the prices on these rugs?? Hurt me.
