So we were on our way to Seguin last weekend when this caught my eye:
Scrreeeeeeeech. Had to stop, you know we did. The High Lonesome Gallery–part roadside attraction, part art gallery–offers so much fun, everywhere you look. Check it out:
Supermondo thanks to artist Parker, who gave me a small luchador painting. GAVE.
Inside, there’s an eclectic assortment of fine art, vintage treasures and more of Parker’s folk art:
Prices on Parker’s folk art are so affordable (one of his huge ones featuring George Jones and Tammy Wynette was going for $150), you can afford to cover every wall in your house. He’s also up for commissions, so if you see something you like but want it in a different size, you’re golden.
Thanks again, Parker!

Parker and Paco need to get together! (: What a COOL treasure!
Exactly! I want him to do a family portrait. In fact, gonna figure that out THIS WEEK.
