Tackling a near whole-house remodel is never easy–on either the nerves or the wallet! So when clients Glen and Natasha overhauled their Rollingwood home in Austin, TX and added a Jack-n-Jill bathroom, they asked Room Fu for help selecting modern finishes that wouldn’t break the bank. They also requested a timeless design that would grow with their two small boys.

While each of the brothers’ vanity areas features many of the same design features (an aquatic, modern mosaic tile as a backsplash in blues, greens and aqua colors; cultured marble counters; Shaker-style cabinetry painted gray; brushed chrome vanity lights, cabinet hardware and faucets), we painted their walls different colors.
The glass mosaic tile is also used in the tub and shower surround as a whimsical, decorative element.
For the floor, we complete the look with a modern, elongated tile in ambiguous shades of latte and gray.
